Elder Law and Healthcare Law Attorney

Person-Sitting-on-Chair

Ted Wolfendale, Esq. received his Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law in May of 1988.  He began practicing law immediately upon graduation working as an Assistant State Attorney for the State of Florida.  He began his private practice shortly thereafter in 1990.   His thirty-five-year legal career has been devoted to tirelessly working to advocate for his clients to help resolve their many and varied legal dilemmas.

The issues and concerns revolving around Elder Care have become the primary focus of Ted’s practice due to his familial connection to Dial-a-Nurse, the original and longest serving Home Health Company in SWFL.  Started by his mom over forty-five years ago, the staff and caregivers at Dial-a-Nurse have made it possible for thousands of clients to successfully age in place in their own homes.

Ted’s experience helping his mom found the company and eventually becoming Administrator have given him a unique perspective on the needs and challenges of SWFL’s senior population.  His extensive knowledge of the law and his keen insight and deep concern for those he has cared for gives him a broad knowledge base in understanding the challenges that the elderly face.  Having that level of understanding is critical when it comes to concerns like Medicaid Planning, planning for retirement and ultimately, planning for their own health and decision-making when they are no longer able to make them.
